Nursery Blog March 2024 – We are all welcome

We are very lucky here at the Learning Tree to have a huge team of special people who make us magic!  We employ 39 staff in total across our settings - these include our practitioners, cooks, cleaners, care takers, leaders and managers. Out of that 39 we are fortunate to have 2 male nursery practitioners and Jase our care taker. We believe that having a diverse team of people provides a holistic approach to our settings and gives children the opportunities to build healthy emotional bonds.

Our teams make our nurseries the special places they are. We embrace our team’s individuality and the different skills they can bring. Some staff love to be creative, some love reading stories, some are excellent at singing, but we all share the common thread of wanting to give children the very best start in their early years. 

Having a diverse team teaches children acceptance of all and that we are all different. We don’t wear uniform for this reason as well, we celebrate our individual style and flair!
