NURSERY EDUCATION GRANT FUNDING
We are a Ofsted ''GOOD'' provider so we are able to provide 2 year old funding - please call 01225 394317 to see if your child is eligible
We are regulated by Ofsted which enables us to receive the nursery education grant for 2, 3 & 4 year olds. This combined with the flexibility that our nursery provides, in terms of opening hours and number of sessions, means your child can continue with us until they go to school.
All children become eligible for funding at the start of the term after their 3rd birthday.
The grant funds your child to attend a maximum of 15 hours per week term time only or 11 hours per week for 51 weeks a year. This is free entitlement to nursery education. Should your child attend more than 15 hours per week term time only or 11 hours a week all year round you will be charged for the additional time. Please note that in order to claim the full 15 or 11 hours a week your child will need to attend nursery over 2 days each week.
We also offer 30 hours funded places but these spaces are limited for 3 year olds. You can find out more about all funding options on www.childcarechoices.gov.uk
The Nursery charges the following top up fees, which covers meals, snacks and drinks during the time your child is at nursery. As with all nurseries across the UK, the fee is charged due to the government grant being insufficient to cover these additional costs.
AM Snack: £0.55p
PM Snack: £0.55p
We also offer Early Years Pupil Premium Funding.
This means if your child is between 3 and 4 years old and you are receiving any of the list below, we could receive up to £300 extra funding from BANES council for the year. This additional funding will be used to improve the quality of your child's early education.
Are you receiving any of the following?
Income - based jobseekers allowance
Income - related employment and support allowance
Support from NASS (National Asylum Support Service) under part 6 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
